Founded in 1934 by Golding Fairfield and James Woods, Fairfield and Woods, P.C. is one of the oldest law firms in Denver. The Firm provides a broad range of legal services for businesses and individuals and is one of the leading commercial law firms in the Rocky Mountain region.

Our attorneys are qualified and experienced in virtually all areas of business law, including litigation and dispute resolution. Many of our attorneys hold specialized legal degrees that provide them with added training in their fields of expertise. Several of our attorneys have joined us after successful careers in business and government, providing us with a greater understanding of the issues currently faced by businesses in today's highly regulated environment. Our attorneys are active in the business community and serve on the boards of, and volunteer for, a variety of civic, charitable, and non-profit organizations.

Our clients have been instrumental in the growth and development of Denver as the hub of commercial activity in the Rocky Mountain region and as a center for high technology businesses. Through the years, the Firm has developed very strong ties to members of the Colorado business community, government leaders, and lawmakers. We have made a conscious decision to limit our size in order to preserve the friendliness and collegiality of a law firm in which all attorneys and staff know each other on a first name basis, and in which clients are considered friends of the Firm.
