Fairfield and Woods is pleased to announce that Mark Davidson has been named a Shareholder and Jessica Alizadeh has been named a Director, effective January 1, 2020.

Mark brings more than three decades of experience providing strategic counsel to utility companies, regulators, and developers. He is one of the few lawyers in Colorado to represent all parties in the utility regulation process, including the regulators themselves, and brings a unique perspective to navigating a complex regulatory hearing on behalf of a utility or brokering the sale of a public electric provider to an investor-owned company. Mark joined the firm in 2018, bolstering our energy, utilities, water, land development, and real estate practices.

Jessica’s practice focuses on all aspects of real estate development and industrial hemp including land use, governmental relations, approvals, transactional work, public-private finance, and litigation. She has 20 years of combined experience in government affairs and real estate development as both a lawyer and the founder of a public and government relations firm. Her deep industry knowledge and relationships with local, state, and national officials make her an ideal resource for clients seeking to navigate complicated regulatory schemes on the federal, state, county, and local levels.
