We offer broad experience in the area of commercial lending and real estate lending. The Firm's lending practice includes representation of national and local banks, insurance companies, and various private lenders, along with individual and corporate borrowers. We negotiate, analyze, and draft documents related to commercial loans, including long-term lease financing, floor plan, equipment leasing, various types of secured and unsecured loans, revolving credit, and asset-based financings, such as inventory and accounts receivable. We also act as lender's or borrower's counsel in construction and permanent financings for real estate projects (including FHA, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and GNMA programs).

We regularly represent lenders and borrowers in connection with troubled loans, both in out-of-court workouts and in bankruptcy cases. We advise lenders on regulatory compliance matters, including consumer lending regulations. We also have significant experience in other forms of financing, including securitized financing, real estate investment trusts, public and private securities offerings, and varying structures of carry-back financings.
