Chuck has offered counsel and advice to businesses regarding real estate and general corporate matters for more than five decades. He has experience handling real estate transactions from their inception, representing both buyers and sellers of real property as well as developers, lenders, construction companies, and others in commercial real estate deals.
A trusted and well-known advisor in Denver, Chuck has left a footprint across the Front Range with representations including Prime Outlets Mall in Castle Rock, Colorado, in its initial development and three subsequent expansions. For many years, he also served as lead counsel for multiple ski resorts including the Copper Mountain ski area. Through many of Denver’s boom and bust cycles, Chuck has represented a variety of companies who create and sell real estate interests throughout the state, including life insurance companies and financial lending institutions.
In addition to his depth of experience in real estate development projects, Chuck represents other real estate-related and general corporate matters for an array of clients. His past representations include numerous deals related to cable television company acquisitions and sales; special district matters; land use issues; residential and commercial lending; construction law; foreclosures; and real estate purchases, sales, exchanges, leases; and condominiums. Chuck has also served as an expert witness, arbitrator, and mediator in many business-related transactions.
Chuck feels fortunate to have practiced in Fairfield and Woods’ collegial, team-based atmosphere since commencing private practice in 1965, and he is proud to continue working with the various clients he has represented for many years.
