In her transactional practice, she helps clients navigate commercial law landscapes, ultimately crafting unique solutions that address each clients’ particular needs.
Courtney’s experience includes handling breach of contract, business tort, trade secret, civil theft, and employment cases. She has worked with receivers to untangle contract disputes and pursue numerous debtors. Her practice also includes handling property interest conflicts and insolvency proceedings. She also counsels clients on various transactional issues such as master service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, official rules for sweepstakes and contests, organizational documents, intellectual property rights, and employment contracts.
She focuses part of her practice on organizations and individuals in the sports industry. She routinely drafts master service agreements and non-disclosure agreements for a sport-focused creative agency and recently provided advice to and served on hearing panels for National Governing Bodies as well as successfully defended clients in a case involving sports-related intellectual property.
