Innovative Space Propulsion Systems

Innovative Space Propulsion Systems’ goal was to commercialize and license a “clean and green” engine that uses nitrous oxide, a rocket fuel that is safer to transport and use. It succeeded, with its partners, in developing a revolutionary engine and fuel for the space industry that does just that, eliminating the need to use hydrazine—a dangerous, highly toxic rocket fuel. As a result, the engine and fuel are not only safer but also have a significant domestic and international market. Fairfield and Woods assisted ISPS in raising money to commercialize this rocket technology and is helping ISPS in its U.S. export control activities.
