Bio

Amanda works with her clients to understand their goals and help them navigate complex litigation to reach an efficient resolution. Her litigation practice emphasizes complex commercial disputes, business disputes, real estate matters, telecommunications, and First Amendment litigation. Amanda represents a broad range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, limited liability companies, shareholders, business owners, individuals, and local governments.

She represents her clients in all phases of litigation in State and Federal court from initial pleadings and discovery, to alternative dispute resolution through trial and appeal. She has experience serving as first chair trial counsel and brings that strategic leadership and courtroom experience to her high-stakes matters. Amanda always considers what is best for her client and looks at the whole matter through a lens of mitigating risk while advocating for a just outcome.

In addition to her litigation practice, Amanda maintains a regulatory practice in public safety communications, representing local authorities before the Colorado Public Utilities Commission and the Federal Communications Commission. She complements her litigation practice by advising clients on a variety of pre-litigation or non-litigated matters.

Amanda is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical approach, and client collaboration. 

Prior to entering private practice, Amanda completed a judicial clerkship in the Fourth Judicial District of Minnesota. She draws on her background working on the judge’s side of the bench to take a well-rounded approach to each matter. 

  • Secured judgment and full damages for claims involving unlawful detainer, breach of contract, trespass and negligence
  • Successfully moved to strike certain opinions of retained experts for violations of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(a)(2)(B)
  • Successfully defended against a motion for sanctions due to spoliation of evidence in federal court
  • Secured temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to preserve use of an easement
  • Successfully moved to set aside a seven-figure default judgment order for insufficient service of process
