“I thrive when presented with a challenging problem that needs to be unpacked and analyzed from all directions. It’s the lawyer’s job to find a solution and put the pieces back together.”

A clear and effective communicator, Mike excels at presenting clients’ cases in the courtroom, where he has handled more than a hundred matters. His extensive understanding of civil litigation allows him to help companies navigate complex commercial disputes, particularly related to real estate and fiduciary duty. In addition to representing private and closely held businesses in corporate disputes, Mike handles product and professional liability matters, employment law disputes, and catastrophic injury and wrongful death suits in state and federal courts.

He spent several years handling insurance bad faith and tort liability matters, and is skilled in analyzing insurance coverage issues. He handles disputes across a variety of industries, and in each representation he works to quickly gain knowledge of the issues pertinent to the case.
Mike frequently works with businesses that have complex corporate structures and international law issues. His recent experience includes representing a global company that was facing simultaneous litigation on three continents regarding its tax minimization strategies. He also is experienced in the use of alternative dispute resolution procedures to avoid formal litigation, and his decades of experience in the courtroom allows him to excel regardless of venue.
