Matt represents his corporate clients in all aspects of a business life cycle from entity formation and financing to windups and sales. He has particular experience drafting business formation documents, resolving business disputes, advising on corporate structures, and drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
Matt has developed a specific niche representing business owners, entrepreneurs, and investors involved in the highly regulated cannabis industry at a local and national level. He is well-versed in cannabis laws at the state and local levels and advises clients on licensing, compliance, and multi-state operations and expansions. He draws on his experience working with the Director of Legal Affairs at one of the largest edible manufactures in the United States to help them through two significant transactions as well as cannabis-focused course work throughout law school.
